Wonder how many miles are in this patina:
Flat black or chalkboard paint and chalk:
Fun ride tonight with a mix of near perfect weather(75° and low wind), strong riders and decent amount of fuel in my tank.
My favorite silhouette photo hill:
Stayed out of trouble and near the front most of the ride and assumed my position near the back when the pace heated up towards the end.
Big Jay opened up a gap that I snuck on the back of which caused a gap and a chase group to form. A rare photo op of being caught:
Was rolling my wheels across the Boneyard bridge and a mother and her ducklings catch my eye, she starts freaking out and about 2 seconds later this Red Tail hawk swoops in nearly picking off a snack. Managed to catch some after stalking on video (in the shadows, under the branch on the ledge):
U.S.A(choice bars):
BB changed, noises persist, on to the next thing:

Completed one of the repurposed canvases hoping to get some art on the walls in the house. In the shade of bright sun it looked like this:
in the house it looks like this:
Kinda’ reminds me of baby food pea barf or the death of an Easter egg.

Rounded the corner :02 late to the start and it was obvious I got left. Tucked some Sport Beans in my cheeks and pedaled into the 8 mph ESE wind until the trip meter said 10.5 miles. Plenty of stuff to do today so this would be a short and sweet one.
Tired from allergies and the work week, I spent the day lounging and painting some repurposed canvases with jr:

Looking west from Krannert:
flava’ flav:
Forgot the camera on one of the prettier days of the year, go figure. Low 70’s and 15 mph from the SW. Enough new faces to make things interesting. Jay and Axle pretty much rode off the front never to be seen again. Ooof.
Boneyard Creek on campus:
Sun intolerant hosta variety already burning, I suppose I should find a new home for this one but I really enjoy seeing it daily.
Bindweed + baggie + roundup == doom

Hah!, jr. gettin’ some surgery and partyin’ with the Hooter’s girls:

With at least half the state in yellow, green and red on the radar, I opted to hide inside for the second day when normally it’s time to gogogo! Only riding was to shake a mulberry tree with jr and his grama, solid 2 mile ride with plenty of effort keeping up with a now speedy pilot. Also R&R’d the GXP BB on the commuter hoping to chase out the noises happening under power. Replacement unit ordered.
Papa’s day lunch with some rhubarb and berry pickin’ for crunch after, good times:
