Upper 70’s finishing in the low 80’s, 15 from the SSW.
Nice sized group for a memorial day ride. Somehow avoided lining up with Martin and got Stone. Out of the frying pan into the fire. Legs were reluctant to wake up but felt pretty good overall. 19 – 20 into a 15+ mph wind for a mile is hard.
I listened to better judgment and turned back with the early group. Lots of things to do in this modern life and with not feeling the best, I need to carefully budget my energy.

Strawberries and rhubarb picked from the easement and turned in to the chef for crunch. Yum.

Few highlights from Saturday:

Arrived late and spent some time corner marshaling, visiting and making images. After a few hours of cropping and resizing I’ll have more to show. ‘till then here’s a vid of the Masters 30+ Cat 1/2/3 race and the disappointing cancellation of the 1/2/3 race (1:15 of the vid is a curious moment). I like how the wind picked up on cue.
Ceremonial alligator ?
