Nearly rolled over and went back to sleep on this one. Winds in the low 20’s from the W and temps in the low 30’s for a jaunt to Monticello. Our 12 member crew weaved and bobbed in early season form relegating several riders to the back to learn the fine art of survival drafting.
At the rest stop the group split nearly in half with one part going around Allerton and the second headed directly home in the luscious tailwinds.
Pics are thin since I was more concerned with the high winds, staying safe and not being dropped. Good early season ride.
