Hazel Framing

Bottomside mostly cleaned and painted for what I can reach without the cab coming off. Back to cat for more paint and ordered Duplicolor spraycans (BGM0540 Light Slate Metallic) to match the origional since I’m not quite ready to spray with my own equipment.

Remounted compressors and think I got it right this time:

Bandaged Pealing

One inch at a time, mostly all forward. E-brake is in and tested, so far so good.

DSCN6914

Electrical all in and tested, now torn back down for cab floor paint.

DSCN6932

Made a plate from 16 gauge sheet to cover wires on driver’s side wheel well. Nibbler’d out the shape, clamped, heated and banged around a 2x2” iron bar, affixed with 3/8” x 3/4” pan head allen and self-tapping pan head below:

Contextual Duo

e-brake and lokar cable assemblies in, rear speaker wires run, airlines sorted except for gauge connections under dash, battery relocate wires mostly run, battery arrived, need to fab up a cover plate for the wheel well to protect the cables and clean up the cab for painting of the floor and utility rack… whew

DSCN6875

Worst of the cab clean up area, will plan to hit it with POR and more seam sealer and pretend like it never happened until the cab comes off the frame and gets addressed properly:

Also need some cup holders ….
